On Cue Tracking
Ken: This is one of those consoles with that funny trackback feature.
Me: Yes.
Ken: So how does that work, you must really need to know what you are doing.
Me: Yup.
Ken: Who uses that?
Two days of tech later....

How to ruin a day
Well, maybe today was just not meant to be a good one. Lets start with the fact that today was the first ten-out-of-twelve (10/12) for “A Christmas Story.” It is very slow going with all the kids and the fact that every 2 pages of script we are moving all kinds of scenery. It will probably end up being a fun show, but right now it is slooooowwww. We have run into some funky...

Pre Holiday Thoughts
Thanksgiving is in two days, and once again I won’t be able to be with my family due to the crazy schedule here at the theatre. We work tomorrow (Wednesday), pretty much all day day. I have a production meeting in the morning and then we have dry tech in the evening. We are back at it again on Friday. So even though we do have Thanksgiving day off, it would be completely impractical and...

"A Christmas Story" Publicity →

Off to an OK start of focus. Was slow getting the crew in, but we are starting to move along.
Before I head out to the theatre today I have to sort through the publicity photos for “A Christmas Story.” Hopefully I’ll upload them today
What would a full day of theatre be without heading to Village Inn after helping to load out The Nutcracker?!
Just saw a great performance of The Nutcracker. Most amazing thing was the fact that the conductor did not use a score!
I should not be allowed to go to non-professional theatre. Too many things make me cringe, but the worst is bad or no face light!
This is hilarious!: RT @jhdesynz: What if Apple made everything? a V-6 sedan could be a iVroom, V-8’s iVroomPro.
Once Kelly gets back from her costume fitting (yay elf costumed crew) we can actually get the the stuff we came in for: patching & grouping.
Skiing opening day at @snowbirdski. It is beautiful even if there is only one run open! http://twitpic.com/q8r13
The skiing was a blast, now I have to head in to the theatre. Ahh, the joys of being a season pass holder!

How do you get there from here?
So I had a very nice chat/meeting with Ruth’s aunt and uncle, Celeste and Terry. While not experts in setting up a small business, they did have some insight, and I certainly appreciate that. I still have to make some decisions about what I want to do in order to get everything se tup for this job with ETC.
I need to talk to Randy down at GTS again and see what kind of deal he is willing...
Back at home, had a nice chat with Terry & Celeste then went up to Deer Valley to pick up my skis so that I can ski opening at @snowbirdski!
Off to visit Celeste and Terry to talk about small businesses.
To ski or not to ski, that is the question! @snowbirdski opens tomorrow and I could go if I grab my stuff from Uncle Jeff’s house. A dillema
Ok, so, I spent most of the afternoon playing with @tumblr. Now I have a new blog that I probably won’t update: http://blog.aweisman.com

Getting Started
I don’t really get all of these new social networking and blogging sites that seem to spring up every day. However, I spend a lot of time sitting in front of the computer (which probably isn’t good) and it seems that everyone has the next new thing. I mean, I have Facebook (which I have had since it was new), Twitter (in multiple accounts), slathers of IM accounts, Google Wave, my...
